A vibrant and dynamic centre dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and inclusivity to bridge the divide in disability and employment.

Who Do We Support?

People with a disability who are
School Leavers through to 30 years old, looking to build capacity to seek and maintain meaningful employment.

We help young adults find valuable work experience by connecting them with local businesses based on their strengths and interests.
Our unique work experience approach focuses on personal growth and skill development, connecting young adults with local businesses to unlock their potential.

Education
(TAFE + Short Courses)

We partner with local high schools for seamless post-graduation transitions.
We work closely with tertiary institutions, offering career guidance, course support, and ongoing assistance.
We provide short courses like first aid and barista, and provide support duringTAFE studies in various fields.

On the Job Supports

We provide on-the-job training and support for job performance and workplace independence.
Our mentoring and coaching focus on long-term confidence and self-reliance in your career.

SLES (School Leavers) / Work Ready

Transitioning from high school? We equip you with job skills, guide your path to work or further education, and provide hands-on experience.
Our programs prepare you for post-school goals, with SLES ensuring a successful school-to-work transition, opening job and further opportunities.

Social & Life Skills

Our programs empower participants to discover their independence and lead their best lives with confidence.
Our offerings cover a wide range, including cooking and nutrition, budgeting and organisation, independent travel training, social skills, relationship navigation, and obtaining a driver's license.

Get Active

We prioritise overall participant well-being with a program led by certified trainers. It begins with group fitness sessions, whether indoors or outdoors, encompassing activities like fitness, resistance training, boxing cardio, and yoga.
Weekly goals keep you on track, and we also arrange team sports for those into friendly games.

Kim Moddel
BEd (SpedEd), M.Sp.Ed

For over two decades, Kim Moddel has dedicated her career to disabilities and inclusion, with a focus on young adults' transition from school to work. She's witnessed the lack of opportunities and support for these individuals and has taken action.

Kim has assembled a passionate team dedicated to creating new opportunities for young people with disabilities, helping them unleash their creative and entrepreneurial potential.

Co-Hive Hub isn't just an initiative; it's a revolution in the making. It's a movement that empowers individuals with disabilities to chart their own course, make profound contributions to society, and radiate their exceptional abilities for the world to see.

Fill in EOI Form Online

Begin by completing the Expression of Interest (EOI) form on our website. See the Register Your Interest link below

Discuss Needs

Expect a call from our staff to discuss the participant's needs. If it's a match, you'll be invited to a 45-minute Intake Meeting

Book Intake Meeting

Watch for an email to schedule your Intake Meeting, choosing in-person or Zoom.

Attend Intake Meeting

Meet with a Co-Hive staff member for 45 minutes, bringing your NDIS plan to discuss goals.

Online Agreement

Both the Participant and their support person will receive sign-up forms. Complete the service agreement online.

Personalised Schedule & Programs

After the agreement, our dedicated team will collaborate with you to create a personalised schedule and tailored programs that match your goals and preferences.
