Day 1: "Mastering Your Camera" - This day focuses on understanding camera settings, exposure, and composition fundamentals. Students will practice using their cameras to capture well-exposed and visually appealing photographs.
Day 2: "The Art of Visual Storytelling" -Participants will explore the creative side of photography, learning about composition techniques, lighting, and how to convey narratives through images.They'll also cover basic photo editing and enhancement.
Day 1: "Knowing Your Camera" -Participants will explore the various camera types, understand camera settings and operations. The day includes hands-on exercises on focus techniques and depth of field and composition.
Day 2: "Shooting Techniques” - Participants will improve their shooting techniques covering stabilisation, framing and composition, camera movement, lighting and audio recording.
Day 1: "Introduction to Animation" - This day covers the fundamental principles of animation, including key frames, timing, and basic software tools. Participants will learn to create simple animations, explore different animation styles, and gain an understanding of the storytelling potential of animation.
Day 2: "Advanced Animation Techniques" -For those interested in diving deeper into animation, this session explores concepts such as masking and rotoscoping, motion graphics and titles and transitions and effects.
Day 1: “Introduction to Video Editing” - For students interested in improving their video editing skills, this course will focus on getting the basics right, from becoming familiar with the application to creating sequences and adding transitions and effects.
Day 2: “Advanced Editing Techniques” - This session will focus on more advanced techniques including colour correction and grading to adding text and tiles and audio and visual effects.
Day 1: “Introduction to Squarespace” - In this session, participants will be introduced to the Squarespace platform and understand its features and how to set up an account. Participants will also understand how to navigate the Squarespace interface, and how to start building your own website, from customising page templates to organising content blocks and creating navigation menus.
Day 2 “Building and Launching a Website” - In this session, participants will learn how to integrate social media, set up a blog or portfolio, add contact forms and optimising for improved search engine ranking.
Day 1: “Foundations of Web Development” - In this session, participants will explore the basics of HTML along with using CSS (cascading style sheets) to style and format web pages.
Day 2: “Interactivity and Accessibility” - In this session, participants will be introduced to JavaScript and learn how utilising it can enhance web page interactivity. Participants will also learn about the basics of designing for mobile and web accessibility.
