ABOUT CO-HIVE

Real jobs. Real independence.

A community that lasts a lifetime.

Australia's first education-driven community for young adults aged 17–35 with mild disability and neurodivergence — where outcomes are measured, the community is genuine, and the model is built to grow.

Our Why

The cliff edge is real. Co-Hive is the....

When school ends for a young adult with mild disability, the support system disappears overnight. No routine, no community, no pathway. What replaces it is nothing.

This cohort falls through every gap — too capable for high-support NDIS services, not yet equipped for mainstream employment. Without intervention, 34% remain unemployed long-term. Five in six rely on family or welfare.

Co-Hive is the response.

The missing middle

Too capable for high-support services. Too vulnerable for mainstream programs.

$77,000/year family burden

Average unpaid care cost per family after school ends.

72% co-occurring mental health

Autistic adults with at least one mental health condition — chronically underserved.

Meet The Team

We’re here to break barriers, spark growth, and back young adults with disability to thrive — in work, in life, and beyond.
