The Circular Economy
Take part in Return & Earn projects and see sustainability in action.
Discover clothing and furniture sustainability through reuse and repurposing.
Investigate plastic waste and sustainable products that support a circular economy.
Module 3
Retail Horticulture Industry
Discover nursery retail operations and customer service.
Gain hands-on floristry experience and discover roles across the industry.
Build confidence in developing a gardening business and working with customers.

Module 4
Edible Gardens
Research and design an edible garden suited to different spaces and needs.
Build practical skills in composting and planting to support sustainable gardening.
Maintain edible gardens through ongoing care and upkeep.
Module 5
Community Edible Garden Project
Get involved in community gardens and understand how shared green spaces are maintained.
Discover sustainability hubs and their role in promoting environmentally friendly practices.
Identify native plants and their value in local environments.
Module 6
Landscaping & Outdoor Maintenance Careers
Develop practical skills in construction basics for outdoor spaces.
Practise turf care to maintain healthy lawns and green areas.
Discover landscaping roles and the skills needed across the industry.
Work Experience
Centennial Parklands, nurseries and local landscaping businesses, with facilitator support fading as independence grows.
