Build Core Skills

Module 1

Introduction to Transport & Logistics

Overview of transport sectors, supply chains, rail history, and industry safety expectations.

Module 2

Warehousing & Logistics (Parts 1 & 2)

Learn warehouse operations, inventory systems, supply chains, and logistics careers.

Module 3

Transport Museums, Heritage & Prototype Modelling

Learn museum roles, design and build prototype, present at Transport Museum Exhibition.

Module 4

Aviation Transport & Drones

Learn airport/air cargo operations, meet Transport for NSW, design drone solution.

Semester 2

Prepare for Employment · Work experience begins

Module 5

Warehousing, Logistics & Forklift Skills

Overview of distribution centres, supply chain, equipment, forklift license training pathways, and entry-level logistics jobs.

Module 6

Road Transport

Road transport overview, freight logistics, safety regulations, road industry excursion.

Module 7

Rail Systems

Learn rail operations, rail careers, safety, signaling technology, and industry pathways.

Module 8

Water Transport & Career Pathways

Explore maritime transport, port careers, prepare for work experience, review portfolio.

Work Experience begins in Semester 2.

Includes logistics facilities, warehouses and transport operations, with the facilitator fading model supporting participants toward independent workplace participation.
