Designed for your future

This program has been uniquely designed by Co-Hive educators with input from transport and logistics professionals.

It is not a certified course, but a practical pathway for young adults interested in exploring careers in transport, warehousing, or logistics.

Co-Hive Learning Journey

Module 1

Build Core Skills

Industry Knowledge & Skills: Learn about road, rail, aviation, ferry, and warehouse operations — and how each connects to move people and goods safely and efficiently.

Technology & Innovation: Explore GPS, bar-code scanning, robotic warehousing, and automation systems used across transport and supply chains.

Financial Literacy: Understand shift work, penalty rates, and budgeting for licences, travel, and work-related expenses.

Module 2

Prepare for Employment

Volunteer and Community:  Volunteer with transport & logistics organisations, or NSW Rail Museum, and at transport festivals or shows such as heritage train events or logistics expos (may include weekend volunteering).

Project: Community Garden: Design and build a model of a transport or logistics site — planning layout, safety systems, and technology such as robotic warehousing.

Industry Insights & Excursions: Visit train depots, ferry wharves, airports, and transport museums to see how transport systems work behind the scenes.

Work Experience & Workplace Confidence: Gain hands-on experience in both transport & logistics workplaces while learning workplace safety, customer service, and professional conduct in both environments.

Module 3

Explore Future Pathways

Open Employment: Explore job opportunities across transport, deliveries, warehousing, and logistics services, with pathways into both employment and small operational businesses. Co-Hive will support you with applications, interviews, and developing the skills needed to gain and maintain industry roles.

Tertiary Education: Tour transport, logistics, and warehousing training providers to explore future study pathways and industry qualifications.
