Learn the basics of animal handling, including essential techniques and fun dog training tricks
Understand the responsibilities, rules, and regulations of animal ownership
Learn about health & hygiene for pets
Bake healthy pet treats and learn about animal nutrition and diets
Hands on dog grooming with Coco, the Co-Hive dog
Learn about animal emergency and basic first aid
Uncover job roles by attending behind-the-scenes field trips to local vets, doggy daycares, reptile stores, aquariums, and zoos
Learn about local volunteer opportunities from guest speakers, including cat rescue and fostering, wildlife rescue (WIRES), and assistant guide dog programs

Vocational Study
- Certificate 2 or Certificate 3 in Animal Care
Career/Job/Volunteer Opportunities
